Purnia MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav has clarified in a press conference at the local Arjun Bhawan that he is receiving repeated threats. He is not afraid of threats, but the matter should be investigated. Threats have been received through phone calls and mobile SMS also. He said that if I want to be killed then get me killed, but do not talk about the family. Parliament session is starting from 27th, but they will not put forth any demand for themselves there. His struggle for the people will continue. Development of Kosi and Seemanchal is one of his priorities. The government is not serious about the threats. The people behind this should reveal the truth. The Purnia MP clarified that it is not possible for all this to happen without the consent of the people in the system. If the system has a problem with Pappu Yadav, then get us killed, but do not talk about the family.
Pappu Yadav has been receiving continuous threats for the last few days. Lawrence is allegedly threatening Bishnoi gang henchman Pappu Yadav. On November 18, Pappu Yadav received a WhatsApp call from a Pakistani number. While threatening, the person said, if Pappu Yadav does not apologize to Lawrence Bishnoi, he will kill him before December 24. Pappu Yadav further said that he has been raising the issue of renovation of the dam and Bhimnagar Barrage. A letter was also written to the PM regarding this, while explaining about the reply letter, he said that as per the information, DPR will be ready by 2026 and the work will start by 2027.
According to the letter, a Joint Project Office was constituted in 2003 to prepare the detailed project report for Saptakosi Dam Multipurpose Project and Saptakosi Kamla Diversion Multipurpose located in Nepal. Saptakosi High Dam is a storage project. Which has been conceptualized to provide flood efficiency to prevent floods in North Bihar. He informed that the Central Water Commission has informed that in the present circumstances the survey and exploration work and detailed project report of the project will be completed by March 2026. Purnia has already got three NHs, most of the expressway is coming from Purnia. He claimed that the demand for the airport has been met. His promise of dam and road will be fulfilled soon. They will continuously strive for the development of the area.
