How to apply online for learner’s license?
1- Visit the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways or
https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice/stateSelection.do click on
2- Now select your state from the drop-down list.
3- After this click on “Apply for Learner License”.
4- Then select the applicant with Aadhaar option and give the exam from your home.
5- After this click on the option of driving license issued in India.
6- Now click on the submit button.
7- After this click on Submit via Aadhaar authentication option and then submit.

8- Now submit your Aadhar card details and mobile number and click on Generate OTP.
9- After this enter the OTP received from the registered mobile number.
10- Then click on the box accepting the terms and conditions and then click on the authentication button.
11- After this select the desired payment option to pay the license fee.
12- Now watch the government mandated 10 minute driving instruction video to proceed with the test.
13- Now after the video ends, you will get an OTP and password on the registered mobile number.
Then complete the given form and proceed with the test.
14- Now fix the front camera of your device and turn it on.
15- Now complete the test. To pass the test, you will have to answer at least 6 out of 10 questions correctly.
16- If you fail in the test, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50 to appear again for the test.
17- You will receive a confirmation after completing and receiving a PDF of your Learner Driver License.
