Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government has once again given a new charge to the state’s senior-most IPS officer Alok Raj, who was removed from the post of Director General of Police of Bihar. Along with the responsibility given to him after his removal from the post of DGP last week, Alok Raj has now been given the additional charge of Chairman of Bihar Staff Selection Commission.

Alok Raj is the most senior IPS of the state
