Darbhanga district SSP Jagunath Reddy is continuously taking action against careless policemen these days. The latest case is related to Bajitpur police station. The case of taking bribe against Inspector Shashibhushan Rajak posted at the police station had gone viral on social media. After investigation, the SSP immediately suspended the accused inspector and removed him from the line. Just two days ago, the Fekla Police Station Head and an Inspector were suspended for taking money and waiving the warranty of arrest.
The accused inspector was suspended
Inspector Shashibhushan Rajak posted at Bajitpur police station of the district is the investigator in case number 34/24. He had demanded bribe for advocating in favor of the victim in this case. After this, the video of giving the bribe amount went viral. As soon as the matter came to the notice of the SSP, he gave the responsibility of investigating the matter to the SDPO of Benipur and the Circle Inspector of Bahera. The investigation report of both the officers found the matter to be true. Both the officers handed over its report to SSP Jagunath Reddy. As soon as the report was received, the accused inspector was suspended.
Allegation of abandoning the warranty by taking money
Two days ago, Fekla police station incharge Pooja Kumari and Inspector Pannalal Singh were suspended for leaving the arrested warrant after taking money. Whereas the involvement of the driver of Fekla police station in this case is also being investigated. The police station incharge of the same police station, Trisha Saini, and a watchman were suspended three months ago on charges of collusion with a liquor businessman and money transactions. In this regard, SSP Jagunath Reddy said that the bribery video of Inspector Shashibhushan Rajak of Bajitpur police station was going viral on social media. Benipur SDPO and Circle Inspector of Bahera zone were given the responsibility for its investigation. After investigation, the Inspector has been suspended with immediate effect.
