A young man was murdered in Sitamarhi late on Friday night. His mistake was that he had opposed the looting. On this simple matter the criminals shot him three times. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating. The police admitted him to the hospital but the doctors declared him dead. The incident took place on NH-527 C under construction in Pupri police station area.
Raids continue to arrest criminals
It is being told that criminals overtook and stopped the wedding procession’s car with the intention of robbing it on Friday night. After this he took out his pistol and fired. In which a young man was hit by three bullets. He was immediately brought to the hospital for treatment. Where the doctor declared him dead. The deceased has been identified as Alok Kumar, 22, son of Sanjay Gupta, resident of Madhopur village of Runnisaidpur in the district. On receiving information about the incident, SDPO Pupari Atunu Dutta reached the spot and investigated the matter. Raids are being conducted to arrest the criminals.

Family members say that Alok was going to attend his friend’s wedding. Posing as a wedding guest, he had left for Choraut by car with five friends. The car reached Pupri-Choraut border near Behta Hatchery via the under construction NH 527C. After which criminals riding a bike overtook the car and stopped it with the aim of robbing it. After that the criminal took out the pistol. After which he wanted to take out the car to escape. But then firing started indiscriminately. After this everyone left the car and started running away. The criminal kept firing rapidly. In which Alok was hit by three bullets. After this everyone saved their lives by hiding in the forest. A friend of the deceased called 112 and informed about the incident. When the police team arrived, everyone came out and took Alok, who was injured by the bullet, to Sadar Hospital.
