Crackdown on content creators and YouTubers
The notice issued by AR Rahman’s team reads – ‘Some content creators and YouTubers have started a series of defamatory articles on his personal life with their fabricated and imagined stories. Some busy people have also given interviews about their views on the failure of their married life.
‘Objectionable content’ will have to be deleted within 24 hours
According to the notice, all the content defaming the composer will have to be deleted within 24 hours. The notice further reads, ‘Our client directs us to state that there is not even an iota of truth in any program or interview, the purpose of which is to damage the reputation of our client and also hurt his family. Content-hungry social media users have resorted to shaming musicians for cheap, short-term publicity. My client, those spreading hatred will have to remove the objectionable content within the next one hour and maximum within 24 hours.
