Muzaffarpur District Congress Party workers staged a strong protest at Saraiyaganj Tower in the city on Wednesday. This demonstration was regarding the questions raised against the Adani Group in America, in which allegations of fraud, bribery and bribery have been made. Congress workers accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of standing in rocky unity with the Adani Group even as serious allegations against Adani are emerging globally. This has also adversely affected the image of India.
Congress District President Arvind Kumar Mukul said that action should be taken against Adani. Along with his arrest, there should be an impartial investigation into this matter by forming a JPC (Joint Parliamentary Committee). He alleged that during the last Lok Sabha elections, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had raised the Adani issue, but attempts were made to suppress his voice. Now that action is being taken against Adani in America, the public needs answers as to why the Modi government is silent.
Former Congress candidate from Sakra Assembly Umesh Kumar Ram also participated in this demonstration. He said that the stability of Modi government depends on the name of Adani. District spokesperson Sameer Kumar said that as long as Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah stand with Adani, this government feels secure in its power. He also alleged that Modi and Shah are spreading hatred between religion and caste to strengthen their power and keep their politics shining by dividing the people among themselves.
