There is a new twist in the case of death of a youth after falling from the roof in Biwanar police station area of Hamirpur district last April. On the orders of the court, the police took out the body from the grave after eight months and sent it for post-mortem and DNA test. Arvind (23), son of Asharam, died after falling from the roof on the night of April 13/14 in Mutni village of Kunehta outpost of the police station area.
Then the elite people of the village reached a compromise and got the body buried without post-mortem. But, after a few days, the deceased’s father and brother Rinku accused the police of murder and requested the police to register a case. Then the then police station in-charge Rakesh Saroj did not file the case. After this the victim brother took refuge in the court. On October 10, the police had registered a case on the orders of the court.
