The war between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for the last three years. This is probably the first war in which both countries are using technologies like AI for surveillance, locating targets and dropping bombs. Now a report has come out, in which it has been told that Ukraine is training its AI model with thousands of hours of video footage collected through drones so that necessary decisions can be taken on time on the battlefield.
Ukraine collected 20 lakh hours of data
Alexander Dmitriev, founder of Ukrainian digital system OCHI, said that 15,000 drone crews deployed on the war front have collected 2 million hours of war-related footage. He told that through this AI will be trained. If you show 2 million hours of video to AI, it will become supernatural.
Dmitriev said that from this video footage the AI model can be taught how to fight, locate targets and determine the effect of weapons. With its help, AI can find out which weapon has to be released at which angle and at what height.
Similarly, Ukraine also has a system named Avengers. It collects footage from drones and CCTVs. Using AI, this system detected 12,000 Russian devices in a week. Ukraine is using thousands of drones to regain its lost land. Ukrainian companies are making such systems in which multiple drones can be controlled simultaneously from a single computer.
Russia is also not behind in this matter
On the other hand, Russia is also not behind in this matter. He is locating targets on Ukrainian soil and targeting them with his strike drones. These drones of Ukraine have proved to be quite effective against armored vehicles.
