IITF 2024: From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, enjoy every dish in Delhi’s trade fair


IITF 2024: The 43rd International Trade Fair going on at Pragati Maidan cannot be seen separately from food. This time, not only is there a gathering of business representatives, but special arrangements have also been made for traditional dishes from across the country. In this fair, there is an opportunity to taste delicious and traditional dishes from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

Enjoy different dishes
Food stalls from different states have been given a special place in the fair. People visiting here can enjoy non-vegetarian dishes like the famous Rogan Josh and Gushtaba of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Puran Poli and Vada Pav of Maharashtra, Dal Baati Churma of Rajasthan, and Dosa and Idli Sambhar of South India.

It provides a platform to showcase the diversity of cultural heritage and cuisine of every state. Such an event not only promotes people’s interest in delicious food, but also serves to unite Indian diversity.

The plate is heavy on fast food
Everything like Chole-Bhatura, Chowmein, Sandwich, Burger, Pizza, Chole-Kulche and Patties etc. is available in the food court of the fair. Along with this, traditional dishes like Maize Roti-Mustard Saag, Dal Baati Churma, Litti-Chokha, Sattu Sharbat, Clove Lata, Anarsa, Idli-Dosa and Uttapam etc. are also available. Visitors are liking traditional dishes more in the fair. Talking about the price, one plate is available for Rs 150 to 200.

People are liking the taste
People are liking the taste of food so much that there is a crowd at all the stalls. The trade fair is going to run till 27th. The nearest to reach here is Supreme Court Metro Station.

Non-veg also looted the gathering
Among the Kudumbashree cuisine in Kerala stalls, highly local flavors like Kappa (tapioca)-fish curry, Puttu (made from rice powder)- fish curry, Chatti-pathri, Sambar-vada and Porotta are the most popular items. Malabar Chicken Biryani, Chicken Thoran, Egg Kebab and Chicken Kebab are in great demand at the stall.
