Unlike holiday love stories and romantic comedies where everything is resolved after a fight or two. It takes a lot of hard work to maintain good relationships. But it is not difficult.
With everyday responsibilities and anxiety, it’s understandable why dealing with partner issues might be at the bottom of your list. Juggling all of life’s responsibilities—work, kids, family, friends, neighbors, your home—is a must. It’s tiring, and many of us are tired. Especially during difficult times, it’s easy to avoid confronting your stalled relationship or diminishing intimacy issues.
Spend time: This is one way to improve your relationship. But take a break from your partner for some time. Everyone needs their own space and quality time outside of the relationship. Dating and marriage counselors remind us that you need to have room to breathe.
Both go to sleep at the same time: You may have already read that most American youth do not get seven to eight hours of sleep at night. But do you know that going to bed at different times has a negative impact on you and your partner.
For a good relationship, go to bed at the same time. People who stay awake at night and people who wake up early in the morning sleep at different times. And then there are people who work in bed while someone else is watching Netflix in the other room. Keep your sleep schedule the same no matter the situation
Fill their sense of belonging with trust in each other. Show your love. So that they also feel that you have become special for them.
