Apple may join hands with a lock manufacturing company
Currently Apple sells many third party HomeKit locks on its online stores, but doorbell with facial recognition will be a new beginning for it. It is being said in some reports that this doorbell can integrate with many third party HomeKit locks. There are also speculations that Apple may partner with a lock manufacturing company for this.
Work on this doorbell has just started and it is expected to be launched only after next year. Apple will use its new in-house networking chip in this.
