Baby John Box Office Collection Day 1: Varun Dhawan’s most awaited film ‘Baby John’ has arrived in theaters today. The film has hit the screens on the occasion of Christmas and the makers have high expectations from the film. But it seems that Varun Dhawan’s film is fading in front of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and it will have a slow opening at the box office.

Advance booking for the first day of release of ‘Baby John’ started on 22nd December itself. According to Sacknilk, the film had earned Rs 5.09 crore in three days with block seats. Now ‘Baby John’ has been released and the initial figures of the first day box office collection have started coming out. The film has earned Rs 2.82 crore so far (till 1:30 pm) in India.


‘Baby John’ pales in front of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’
Before ‘Baby John’, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is on the screen which was released on 5th December and is earning crores of rupees every day. Allu Arjun’s film has also made good collections on the 21st day (25th December) and ‘Baby John’ has lagged behind it. ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has so far made a business of Rs 5.14 crore at the domestic box office and has overtaken ‘Baby John’.

‘Baby John’: Star Cast, Director and Budget
Varun Dhawan starrer film ‘Baby John’ is a remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Tamil film Theri (2016). It has been directed by Atlee. Atlee and Varun have come together for the first time through ‘Baby John’. Apart from Varun, Keerthy Suresh and Vamika Gabbi are in lead roles in this action packed film. Whereas Jackie Shroff has been seen playing the role of a villain. According to NDTV report, the budget of ‘Baby John’ is Rs 85 crore.
