The government has taken cognizance of the threat of mass resignation of doctors and paramedical staff for the removal of CMS in Deendayal Upadhyay District Hospital. Here, on the basis of the letter given by the doctors to the Additional Director Health two days ago, Additional Director Dr. Neeta Kulshrestha has started the investigation. On Thursday, the Additional Director talked about resolving the matter by holding separate talks with the doctors and CMS. Asked both sides to work in the interest of patients. After talks that lasted for about two hours, the doctors were adamant on taking concrete action on CMS.

On Tuesday, 33 doctors and 40 paramedical staff of the district hospital had written a letter to the District Magistrate, Additional Director Health, CMO, complaining about the CMS being arbitrarily used and deliberately harassing the doctors and paramedical staff. In this, the doctors had asked to submit mass resignation letter if action was not taken within three days. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, CMS, in its clarification given to the district administration, had made other allegations against the doctors including not working properly. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Additional Director seriously discussed the entire issue with the complaining doctors and CMS in the presence of the CMAO, Joint Director.

Additional Director said that all aspects were discussed point by point in the conversation. In this, people were asked to remove mutual differences and keep working in the interest of the patients. Both sides looked confident in the conversation. Efforts are being made to avoid any kind of dispute. On the other hand, the complaining doctors say that there was no result on concrete action in the talks, hence they will have to wait till Monday. Here, PMS Secretary Dr. RN Singh says that if action is not taken by Monday, then further strategy will be prepared by holding a meeting with the doctors.
