Once again there has been a large scale transfer of IPS officers in Bihar. 62 IPS officers have been transferred. Avakash Kumar has been made SSP, Patna, while Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police, Anti-Terrorism Squad.

Additional Director General of Police, Bihar Police Headquarters Kundan Krishnan Has also been given the additional charge of Additional Director General of Police (Operations) of the Special Task Force. Also IPS of 1996 batch Dr. Amit Kumar Jain The responsibility of the Commission has been taken from those who till now were in the role of Additional Director General of Police (Weaker Section) of Crime Research Department along with Additional Director General of Police of Bihar Human Rights Commission. The additional charge has become his basic post.
Amritraj given the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police (Security)
Whereas 1998 batch IPS Amritraj Has been made Additional Director General of Police (Security). Till now he was performing the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police (Operations). Whereas 2001 batch IPS decent has been given the additional charge of Inspector General of Police (Security) along with Director General of Police (Anti Terrorism Squad). He was earlier also the Inspector General of Police of Anti Terrorism Squad. He has been given the additional charge of Inspector General of Special Armed Police.

Posted to the post of Assistant Inspector General of Police, Railways Dr Gaurav Mangala (2013) He has been made the commander of Bihar Special Armed Police-7 of Katihar. Yogendra Kumar (2014) Has been made the SP of Madhubani. ips officer Dayashankar (2014) Has got the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Special Branch. Chandrashekhar Prasad Vidyarthi (2014) Has been made the Superintendent of Police of Crime Investigation Department. Harimohan Shukla (2014) Has got the responsibility of Superintendent of Police of Kaimur. ips officer Jitendra Kumar (2015) Has got the responsibility of commanding Bihar Special Armed Police 5, Patna.
