The landlord turned the house into ruins
A strange case came to light in France. You will be surprised to know the actions of a landlord living in a place named Pas-de-Calais in the northern part of here. On December 20, he sent some laborers to destroy his own property. A woman lived in this property situated in a very cold place. He had not paid the fixed rent to the landlord for the last 5 months. When he did not pay the rent even after repeated requests, the landlord sent laborers there, who within a few minutes removed all the windows and doors of the house, loaded them on a cart and drove away.
The matter reached the police
The tenant somehow covered himself with cardboard and spent the night there. Talking to the media, he told that he wanted to talk to the landlord after the incident but could not. She cannot leave her house and go anywhere because there are no windows and doors. However, the landlord has taken responsibility for this matter and admitted that he did this due to non-payment of rent. Since according to French law it is completely illegal to evict a tenant from the property in this manner, the tenant has now filed a case against her and is looking for social housing for herself.
