Budget 2023-24: The last full budget of the Narendra Modi 2.0 government was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Responding to this matter, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said that the election budget is the one in which the rewadis are being divided. This budget is going to empower the people of the country.

While the Prime Minister in his reaction to the budget Narendra Modi Said that the first budget of Amrit Kaal will lay a strong foundation for building a developed India. The dream of every class will be fulfilled. This budget will fulfill the dreams of poor, middle class, aspiring society including farmers.
What to say of the opposition?
On the budget, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the budget has been presented keeping in view the elections of 2-4 states. This is not a budget but an election speech. Whatever things he has said outside, it has been repeated by inserting jumla in this budget. There is an increase in inflation and inflation in the budget, which should have been taken care of. He had said that he would give 2 crore jobs every year. Nothing happened even for government recruitments. There is nothing in this budget for the poor and unemployed.

So at the same time, TMC President and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the budget has been prepared keeping in mind the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Along with this, she also said that if she is given half an hour, she can present a better public-friendly budget than this. He claimed that no one would be benefited by making changes in the income tax slab. Chief Minister Banerjee said that this Union Budget is not futuristic, completely opportunistic, anti-people and anti-poor. One will benefit only one class of people. It will not help in solving the issue of unemployment in the country.
