When people tried to surround the robbers while running away, the criminals started firing on them to save themselves, in which a youth was injured. But the people courageously caught one of the fleeing robbers and beat him fiercely. It belongs to Chamrahiya market of Daudpur police station area. Shankar, a Galla businessman, was running away after committing a robbery at a grocery store in Kohra Bazar of Daudpur police station area. The people of Chamrahia market got information about the incident. Eyewitnesses told that the criminals were running away after committing the robbery, an attempt was made to nab them at Chamrahia market. Seeing themselves surrounded by the villagers, the fleeing robbers started firing on the villagers, in which Saroj Singh, son of local resident Baban Singh was injured by the bullets of the criminals.
Caught the robber with the courage of the people
Saroj Singh fell on the ground as soon as the bullet hit, but the people did not give up courage and caught one of the fleeing robbers by chasing them. As soon as he was caught, people started beating him fiercely. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Daudpur also reached the spot and saving the incident of mob lynching, the police somehow took the robber under their control and reached the Sadar Hospital and got him admitted there. At present, his treatment is going on there in police custody. The arrested robber is said to be a resident of Chainpur in Siwan district. Saroj Singh is in critical condition due to bullet injury in his abdomen. Because of this, he has been referred to Patna for better treatment. At present, the police is busy in identifying the other robbers by scanning the CCTV footage of the surrounding.
