Ashok Singh is leading on the post of President and Nitin Sharma on the post of General Secretary in the ongoing counting of votes for the new executive body of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association. Apart from this, the counting of votes for the posts of Senior Vice President, Joint Secretary Administration and Joint Secretary Women has also started from Sunday.

According to the information issued by Election Officer Anil Bhushan and Deputy Election Officer Vashishtha Narayan Tiwari and Mahendra Bahadur Singh, the counting of votes started at 10:00 am on Sunday. Which lasted till 5:00 pm. Election officials said that Ashok Singh, who is leading for the post of president, has got 1163 votes and Anil Tiwari, who is running second, has got 1052 votes. Nitin Sharma, who is leading for the post of General Secretary, has got 755 votes, Akhilesh Kumar Sharma, who is running in second place, has got 579 and Vikrant Pandey, who is running in third place, has got 564 votes.

A total of 3200 votes have been counted for the post of president and general secretary. Apart from this, the counting of total 600 votes has been completed for the posts of Senior Vice President, Joint Secretary Administration and Joint Secretary Women. Amit Kumar is leading on the post of Senior Vice President with 154 votes while Joint Secretary Administration Sarvesh Kumar Dubey is leading with 163 votes and Shivangi Bhargava is leading with 167 votes in Joint Secretary Women. The counting of votes will continue on Monday as well which will start at 10:00 am.
