Rajasthan: The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of road projects worth more than Rs 18,100 crore in Dausa, Rajasthan. He is about to inaugurate the Delhi Dausa Lalsot section of Delhi Mumbai Express Way. Just two days before this program of PM, on Friday (February 10), Rajasthan Government (Rajasthan Govrnment) has released the budget.
The Prime Minister’s Office itself has informed about this visit of the Prime Minister. According to the PMO, after visiting Rajasthan on February 12, the PM will inaugurate the 14th edition of Aero India 2023 at the Air Force Station in Bengaluru during his visit to Karnataka on February 13.
‘Rajasthan CM alleges politics’
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot accused BJP of doing politics regarding this visit of PM. He said that the BJP is politicizing the proposed visit of PM Modi on Sunday.
Gehlot told reporters that I heard that there was a big program here, we could have come on a stage. They (BJP) knew that I would raise the issue of Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), I think to avoid this the PMO and others involved, the state leader who is the Union minister (to the Prime Minister) told that you have a Selected location (Dausa) which comes under ERCP so change it.
How many people will be present at the ceremony?
Gehlot claimed that only 100-200 people will be present in this official function and a separate public meeting will be held by the BJP. He said that he has now found this new method.
The project was conceptualized by the former BJP government led by the then Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Congress leaders say that the PM had promised to give national project status to ERCP in election rallies in 2018 and 2019.
