A young man killed his friend by shooting him in the temple after a minor altercation while drinking alcohol in Mundka area. After executing the incident, the accused fled with the car of the deceased. The friend of the injured youth informed the police about the incident. Police reached the spot and took the injured youth to a nearby hospital. Where he was declared dead. Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased had three criminal cases registered against him. Mundka police station has registered a case of murder and is raiding for the arrest of the accused.
The deceased has been identified as Narendra alias Nandu (42), a resident of Mundka village. He was unmarried and used to commit criminal acts. Police officials said that at 3.12 pm on Wednesday, the police received information about a youth being shot at a house in Ghevra Industrial Area. Police reached the spot and found a young man lying unconscious on the bed with blood coming out of his head and nose. A cartridge and a shell were lying on the bed. He was identified as Narendra. The police took him to a nearby hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.
Narendra’s friend and eyewitness Krishna was found on the spot. Who told the police that at night he was drinking alcohol in the room with his friends Narendra and Sukhbir. At around 11 pm, another friend of Narendra, Jitendra alias Ankit, a resident of village Jharoti, Kharkhoda, Sonipat, Haryana, came. He also drank alcohol with everyone. During this, when there was an argument over something, he took out the pistol. He shot Narendra on the temple from a very close range. He then left the room taking her car keys.
The accused latched the door from outside. On coming out, it was found that the accused had fled with Narendra’s Maruti Ciaz car. Investigation revealed that three criminal cases were registered against Narendra. He was not even married, instead of staying at home he lived with his friends. The police officer says that the accused has been identified and efforts are on to arrest him.
