In the Model Town area on Thursday evening, two brothers living in the neighborhood stabbed a confectioner to death in a dispute over a transaction of thirty rupees. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the injured to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. While investigating the case, the police arrested the accused brothers. they are being interrogated. The deceased has been identified as Sonu (38).
He lived in Gudmondi Model Town area. He was married and has four children. He used to work as a confectioner in marriage ceremonies. On Thursday evening, the police got information about the stabbing of a youth in Gudmandi area.
Sonu was lying on the road in a blood-soaked condition. There were stab marks on other parts of his body, including his abdomen. The police took him to a nearby hospital. where he was declared dead. On the statement of the eyewitnesses, the police registered a case of murder against Rahul and Harish, who live in the neighborhood.
After some time, the police arrested the accused from the area. On enquiry, it was found that Rahul had worked with Sonu. He had to take 30 rupees from Sonu for his work. There was a dispute between the two regarding this for a long time.
On Thursday, Rahul along with his brother Harish came to collect money from Sonu. Where there was a fight between them regarding this matter. Both the brothers first thrashed him and then escaped from there after stabbing him.
