People attacked the police team in Sitamarhi. In this, 3 policemen including DSP were seriously injured. The case pertains to Dharharwa village of Parihar police station area near the Indo-Nepal border. Villagers say that on Friday midnight there was a dispute between the two parties to save the loudspeaker. Seeing the matter, the blood turned into a game. Lathi-poles were fired from both the sides. 6 people were injured in this.

Here, someone informed the police about the incident. On getting the information, DSP along with the team reached the spot. The police tried to pacify the people. Meanwhile, people from one side started pelting stones at the police. In this, 3 policemen including DSP Subodh Kumar, ASI Dayashankar Sah were injured. The policemen admitted the injured to the hospital. After this the police team was again sent there under the leadership of SP Harkishore Rai. Only then the situation came under control.

Stone pelters are being identified

The injured say that the loudspeaker playing in a program on Friday was stopped by people from the other side. The people of this side also tried to stop the loudspeaker playing in the program of the other side. After this the dispute increased. There was fighting from both the sides. A lot of tension has arisen. After this, when the police reached to pacify the matter, people pelted stones at the police as well. SP Har Kishor Rai told that at present the matter has been brought under control. Some policemen and villagers are injured. The people who pelted stones are being identified. Some people are being questioned. Further action is being taken in the matter.
