But only a few of them get success in the examination. Saumya Pandey is one of those successful IAS. She is a young IAS officer of 2017 batch, who hails from Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. He has achieved great success in a short span of time. Saumya’s journey to become an IAS is very inspiring for the aspirants preparing for UPSC.

Talking about Soumya Pandey’s education, she completed her graduation in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. After that he did his Master’s in Public Policy from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Saumya Pandey’s journey to become an IAS officer was not easy. He had to overcome many challenges and difficulties. However, his determination and hard work finally paid off. Saumya is an IAS officer of 2016 batch, she secured the fourth rank in this exam.

In her first posting as an IAS officer, Soumya Pandey was appointed as the Assistant Collector of Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh. During his tenure, he focused on implementing several development projects. Such as improving the quality of education and health facilities in the area. He also worked for the welfare of the marginalized sections of the society, especially women and children.

Soumya Pandey’s work has been recognized and appreciated by many. He was awarded the “Best Collector” award in 2020 for his exceptional work in the field of governance and public administration.
