Jamia Millia Islamia will offer admission to 15 courses of undergraduate programs in the academic session 2023-24 on the basis of merit of CUET UG 2023. University administration says that 15 courses will be admitted in CUET UG this year. Whereas in five postgraduate courses, admission will be done on the merit of CUET PG 2023. Students who want to take admission in Jamia for upcoming session are required to fill online application form of CUET UG and CUET PG as well as admission application form of Jamia. Students should note that if a student fills the application form of NTA and does not fill the application form of Jamia then he/she will not get admission.

According to the Jamia administration, the university grants admission under the Jamia Admission Rules. On the basis of this, admission in 10 UG and five PG courses will be done on the merit of CUET UG and CUET PG. According to a senior official of Jamia, at present it is not possible to give merit admission of CUET UG and PG in all courses this session. For this, the Jamia Academic Ordinance will have to be amended first to change the admission rules. The university’s highest academic council, which decides to amend the Jamia Academic Ordinance, has also approved the preparation of a proposal in its meeting held in February.
