Income Tax investigation at the premises of major meat exporter Haji Zaheer in western UP was completed on the fifth day. After this the team seized a large number of documents. On March 21, 2023, the Income Tax team of Gurugram, under the leadership of Additional Income Tax Director Investigation Aman Preet Singh, raided Haji Zaheer’s house as well as factory Aldua, Alhamd and Delhi-Ghaziabad etc. locations simultaneously. The investigation continued for five consecutive days. During this, the possibility of tax evasion of more than five hundred crores has been raised. Additional Income Tax Director Investigation Aman Preet Singh only told that the investigation has been completed on Saturday morning. The team is back. Now further action will be taken on the basis of the study of the documentary evidence that has been collected.
Thousands of pages of statements of several dozen companies seized
