Victim of depression at the age of 19

Recently, Vijay Vikram Singh told in an interview that he was only 19 years old when he became a victim of depression. In a conversation with Mid Day, he told how in the beginning of his career he could not handle failure and became a victim of depression. Vijay said, “I could not handle my failure in the initial days and drowned in alcohol at the age of 19. I was in depression for 7 years. It almost killed me. Due to alcohol, I got a fatal disease.


Why was Vijay Vikram Singh a victim of depression?
Once Vijay Vikram Singh had told that he wanted to become an army officer. Since childhood, he had a dream to work in the army. For this he also worked hard, but failed. He failed 8 times in 4 years and after that he got addicted to alcohol and remained in depression for 7 years. He told that his morning was accompanied by alcohol. Due to alcohol, his health deteriorated and only 15% chances were there for his survival. However, after 30-35 days of treatment, he recovered and when he left the hospital, he was determined to make a new beginning in his life.
