Three brothers borrowed jewelery worth Rs 2.25 crore from a jeweler in Varanasi’s Resham Katra. When the turn came to pay, the three brothers gave a check to the businessman, which bounced in the bank. When the businessman again asked for money, he was beaten up and threatened to be killed at gunpoint. On the basis of the businessman’s Tahrir regarding the case, a case has been registered against the proprietor and real brothers Krishna Singh, Akash Singh and Sagar Singh of Chandra Jewelery located at Ardali Bazar in Cantt police station.
According to Vikas Seth, a jeweler businessman resident of Reshamkatra, he has a business relationship with the proprietor of Chandra Jewelery located in Ardali Bazar. For the past several years, the sale and purchase of gold and silver jewelery worth lakhs of rupees has been going on from the proprietors of Chandra Jewellery, Krishna Singh, Akash Singh and Sagar Singh.

Goods worth lakhs are exchanged on credit and raw bills. Vikas told that till now he has lent gold ornaments worth Rs 2 crore 25 lakh to Krishna, Akash and Sagar. On asking for money, he was given a check of Rs 2 crore, but it bounced.
