People come here once to eat mushroom samosas made by Ravindra Mukhiya. This is the reason that if the pan climbed on the stove at his shop, it would not come off. People keep coming here to eat hot samosas. Enthusiasts tell that the one who tastes his samosa once, comes to his shop again and again.
There are long queues of people at the chief’s shop to eat mushroom samosas. As soon as the evening sets, the crowd of people increases at this shop. Note that the chief’s shop opens only in the evening. People line up as soon as the shop opens. Everyone who comes for shopping in Saharsa city definitely visits this shop once. People go back home only after eating samosa here.
How did this samosa get fame?
Mukhiya says that he has been selling samosas for many years, but in recent times he thought of doing something different. Then he started making mushroom samosa as an experiment. As soon as people ate mushroom samosa, they became crazy about the taste. Within a few days, the word spread all over Saharsa that now mushroom samosas are also being made in DB Road. After this, the crowd at his shop started increasing a lot.
He told that no one is selling mushroom samosas in the district yet. According to him, he sells 700 to 800 samosas daily. Sweet chutney is also added along with the samosas. Here people not only eat samosas themselves, but people also take them with great enthusiasm for their family members.
