India vs New Zealand ODI Series: The ODI series between India and New Zealand is going to start from 25 November. After the T20 series, Team India has to play a three-match ODI series against the Kiwi team. Shikhar Dhawan will lead the Indian team in ODIs. Shikhar Dhawan, who took charge of India in the ODI team, said before the New Zealand series that ‘It is important to maintain balance in captaincy and win the trust of the players. I hardly feel pressure and keep my surroundings pleasant. The more matches you play, the more confident you are about your decisions. Even before this, there used to be occasions when I used to show respect to a bowler and give him the extra over, but now I have matured. Even if someone feels bad, I will take the decision which benefits the team’.
Dhawan also said that ‘If a bowler’s ball is shot, it is important to know when to talk to him. I will not talk to her when the atmosphere is hot, but instead I will talk to her later’.
