A sudden fire broke out in the 100-bed Joint District Hospital of Vrindavan, Mathura on Monday evening. The fire broke out in the pathology located on the first floor of the hospital. There was chaos due to the fire. Doctors took out the patients admitted in the hospital ward. On information, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and doused the fire by pouring water. Short circuit has been said to be the cause of the fire. The machine and other equipment kept in the pathology got damaged due to the fire.

The incident is at 6 pm

It is being told that at around six o’clock on Monday evening, hospital employee Roop Kishore saw smoke rising from the pathology located on the first floor of the 100-bed United District Hospital. The door to pathology was closed. Roop Kishore gave this information to Dr. Shashi Ranjan, Nodal Officer of Emergency. Seeing the menace of the fire, Dr. Shashi Ranjan, who reached the spot, informed the CMS of the hospital, Dr. Devendra and Dr. Bhudev. After this, an attempt was made to control the fire with the fire cylinder kept in the hospital. The fire could not be controlled even with four cylinders.

Firefighters got the fire under control

On information, two vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and the work of pouring water on the fire was started. Due to the fire in the hospital, black smoke filled the entire campus. Seeing the apprehension of untoward incident, the doctors and hospital staff took out the patients admitted in the ward and their attendants. Everyone was sent to the park. According to Dr. Shashi Ranjan, the reason for the fire could be an electrical short circuit in the AC. The machine and other equipment kept in the pathology were burnt to ashes due to the fire. It is estimated that there has been a loss of about 50 lakhs due to this fire.
