In the same incident, the driver of a truck burnt to death on the spot. While the deputy driver somehow saved his life by jumping from the truck. But during this he also got injured whose treatment is going on in Sadar Hospital. Whereas the driver and deputy driver of the other truck narrowly escaped in the incident.

The deceased truck driver has been identified as W Singh, a resident of Naya village in Khagaria district, and Sonu Kumar, a sub-driver. It is said that both are father and son.

Local people say that W Singh was going from Bihar to Jharkhand with corn in his truck. In this sequence, as soon as they reached near Jamhra turn of Chakai-Giridih main road, there was a face-to-face collision between another truck laden with soap coming from the front. A massive fire broke out as soon as both the trucks collided, in which truck driver W Singh died tragically on the spot while his son and deputy driver Sonu Kumar were seriously injured.

The driver of the second truck, Arvind Kumar, resident of Kathbajra village under Jhajha police station area of ​​Jamui district, and deputy driver Mukesh Yadav also saved their lives by jumping from the truck. However, during this both of them were also seriously injured. Presently all the injured are being treated at Chakai Hospital.
