Let’s know about this story related to Mohini form of Lord Vishnu.

Why did Lord Vishnu take the form of Mohini?

According to the legend, when the churning of the ocean took place, there was chaos between the gods and the asuras after getting the nectar. The deities could not defeat the asuras on the strength of their strength. All the deities together went to Lord Vishnu and requested him to solve this problem. After this, Lord Vishnu assumed the form of Mohini and went in front of the Asuras.

The Mohini form of Lord Vishnu was so enticing that the Asuras lost their senses on seeing her. Mohini trapped these demons in the trap of her illusion and gave all the nectar to the deities. From this the gods attained immortality. For this reason this Ekadashi is called Mohini Ekadashi.
