Indian Premier League 2023: The 47th league match of the 16th season of IPL is being played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In this match, the Kolkata team has decided to bat first after winning the toss. KKR’s team has made 2 major changes in their playing 11, in which Jason Roy and Vaibhav Arora have returned to the team. At the same time, Karthik Tyagi has been given a chance in the Hyderabad team as well.

Both the teams have had a very poor season so far.
If we look at the performance of both the teams so far this season, it has been very bad. The Sunrisers Hyderabad team has played 8 matches so far, out of which they have managed to win only 3. With 6 points, the team is currently at number 9 in the points table. Talking about Kolkata Knight Riders, they have lost 5 out of their last 6 matches, due to which the team is currently at 8th position in the points table with 6 points. After which, if both these teams have to secure a place in the playoffs, they will have to show a much better game in all the remaining matches from here.
