Twitter Blue Subscription: Alan Musk may have told how beneficial Twitter Blue is, but he is still traveling for Twitter Blue subscribers. That is, the Twitter Blue subscribers of the company are not increasing according to which Elon Musk launched this project. According to a latest data, initially when Twitter Blue was announced, people showed great interest in it, but now the number of users is continuously decreasing.
According to a report by Mashable, more than half of Twitter Blue users have canceled their subscriptions. When the company started Twitter Blue, 1.50 lakh people had bought its subscription but now till 30 April 2023 only 68,157 subscribers are left. Means more than 80 thousand people have canceled their subscription.
According to the report, even after 6 months of the launch of Twitter Blue, till the last week of April, only 6 lakh 40 thousand people have applied for Twitter Blue, which is less according to this period. In Twitter Blue, people get the facility of blue tick, tweet edit, undo, bookmark, HD video upload, text message based 2FA etc. as compared to the common user.
Why Are People Leaving Twitter Blue?
One reason behind leaving the subscription of Twitter Blue can be its price as the company charges Rs 650 for Twitter Blue on the web and Rs 900 on iOS and Android. Another reason could be Elon Musk constantly changing things on the platform due to which people’s trust/interest in Twitter is decreasing. The third reason could be that new users cannot subscribe to Twitter Blue right away, they have to wait for 30 days. Even new users get frustrated and irritated by this.
