In the first round of counting of votes in Bijnor, BJP candidates have maintained their lead in Bijnor, Jhalu, Nurpur Municipality President seats. On the other hand, RLD candidates are leading in Dhampur, Nehtaur and Sahaspur. The Congress candidate has maintained an edge in the Chandpur seat. SP and independent candidates are leading on the rest of the seats.
BJP candidate Indira Singh is running at Bijnor headquarters in Bijnor with 6200 votes, SP candidate Swati Veera Mahajan with 4100 votes and RLD candidate Rukhsana candidate with 1700 votes and BSP candidate with 900 votes. In Chandpur, Congress is ahead in Kiratpur, SP in Dhampur, RLD in Nahtaur, RLD in Jhalu, BJP ahead.
Independent candidate in Najibabad, SP ahead in Kiratpur, Sahanpur, Nagina independent candidate has maintained lead. Municipality Seohara has opened four more booths of the second round so far. In this BSP Aamir Chaudhary 513, Cycle 1556, Congress Dr.Danish Kamal 257, Jhadu Faisal Warsi 2128, BJP candidate Vineet Devra 1656 votes, RJD Shuaib Ansari 965, Independent Akhtar Jalil 916 votes. The first round of counting of votes for the post of Najibabad Speaker has been completed. In this, Independent candidate Engineer Mouazzam-4709 votes, Nakul Agarwal-1963 votes from BJP have got.
