Ingredients to make Methi Paratha
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Fenugreek leaves – 2 cups
Curd – 1/4 cup
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste

Methi Paratha Recipe
To make delicious fenugreek parathas in winters, first wash and dry the fenugreek leaves and then cut them finely after plucking them. Now take a big bowl and sift the flour in it. After this add fenugreek leaves to it and mix it well. Now add curd to this mixture and mix. Using curd reduces the bitterness in fenugreek.

Instead, add turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, celery, ginger paste and salt as per taste to this mixture and mix everything well with the mixture. After this, add water little by little and knead the dough. Also add 2 tsp of oil to the flour, due to which the parathas will become soft and crispy. Now cover the dough with a wet cotton cloth and keep it aside for half an hour.

After the fixed time, take the flour and knead it once more and make balls in its equal proportion. After this, keep a nonstick pan/griddle on medium heat for heating. After this, put some oil on the griddle and spread it all around. On the other hand, take a ball and roll it round or triangular like a paratha. Now put the paratha on the griddle and roast it. After some time, turn the paratha and roast it on the other side by applying oil. Roast the paratha till it becomes golden brown and crispy, then take it out in a plate. Similarly, prepare all the fenugreek parathas one by one. Serve it with raita, pickle or tomato launji.
