Ingredients to make ragi barfi
Ragi flour – 1 cup
Mawa (khoya) – 1/2 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Chopped dry fruits – 2 tbsp
Poppy seeds – 1 tbsp
Jaggery crushed – 1 cup
Desi ghee – 2 tbsp

Ragi Barfi Recipe
To make ragi barfi full of taste and nutrition, first of all, put ragi in the mixer and grind it and prepare the flour. If you want, you can use ragi flour by bringing it directly from the market. Now take ragi flour in a vessel. After this, put desi ghee in the pan and heat it. After melting the ghee, add chopped dry fruits to it and fry on low flame. After the dry fruits turn golden, take them out in a bowl and keep them aside.

Now grease the base of a plate/tray with ghee. After this sprinkle poppy seeds and keep it aside. After this add ragi flour in the remaining ghee of the pan and fry it on low flame while stirring. When the flour is well roasted, add crushed jaggery to it and cook till the jaggery melts. After melting the jaggery, add fried dry fruits to the mixture and mix. Cook the mixture till it starts leaving the pan.

After the mixture is cooked, put it in a poppy seeds plate/tray and spread it evenly all around. After this leave it to cool for some time.
