Now like the city, the map will have to be passed for the construction of residential and commercial buildings in the rural areas as well. This rule has been implemented for residential house up to 300 square meters and all types of commercial construction. This map will be passed from the District Panchayat. If the building is constructed without getting the map passed, legal action can be taken by stopping it by the District Panchayat.
This rule is applicable under Section 239 of the Uttar Pradesh Kshetra Panchayat and District Panchayat Act 1994, which was passed in April 2022 in the District Panchayat meeting. Now a strict plan has been made regarding this. Under this, if a school, college, nursing home, marriage hall, business establishment is being built in rural areas, then it will have to pass the map from the district panchayat.
No bank will give loan without passing the map. The plan to be submitted should also be prepared by a registered architect, architect or a qualified engineer. Apart from this, if someone gets any construction done without getting the map passed, then it will be illegal. District Panchayat can take action on that building. Can be demolished if needed. At the same time, it has also been said from the side of the administration that if the school is constructed without passing the map, then it will not get recognition.
