Peda shop operator Yoginder Kumar says that Lakhrab is very famous for Peda. Once upon a time this area used to be a forest. Where peda was made in a small hut-like shop. Now there are 17 to 18 peda shops here. Peda is made here all the time. But peda is not made in large quantities. Shopkeepers keep 3 to 5 kilos of milk boiling in a pan on the stove all the time. On receipt of the order of the customer, peda is made and given in front of him.

5 liters of milk to one kilo peda
Yoginder Kumar told that coal furnaces always keep on burning. Hundreds of liters of milk keeps boiling on these. About 5 liters of milk and the amount of sugar according to taste are added to prepare one kilo of pure peda. Only then pure peda is made. Due to the quality of this peda made from pure milk in Lakhrao, people reach here from far off places. Whether it is marriage or any other festival, people do not forget to take Peda from here.

Pure Peda is sold at Rs 500 per kg in Lakhrab
Shopkeeper Yoginder Kumar told that in Lakhrab you will get Peda for Rs.10 a piece. At the same time, it is sold to the customers at the rate of Rs. 500 per kg. A shop consumes about 50 kg of milk daily. Each shopkeeper sells up to 5 kg of Peda from morning to evening. At the same time, the business of 3 to 4 thousand is easily done. Anil Kumar, who came to eat Peda, told that the special thing about Peda here is that very little sugar is added. Due to which a different test comes in the food. The peda here is pure as well as tasty.
