A young man was shot dead in a dispute during a dance program at a wedding ceremony in Arrah, Bihar. The incident took place in Chaita Tola village of Sandesh police station area. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Kumar, 27 year old son of Bindeshwari Yadav. The brother of the deceased Ranjit Yadav told that the daughter of Binda Yadav of the village was married. The procession came from Bagui Narayanpur. There was a lot of pomp and show getting married. Meanwhile, 4-5 boys from nearby village Rampur came to Janwasa to watch the dance and started harassing the dancer. When the atmosphere started deteriorating, the people of the village gathered and protested against him and asked him to return. But, they got entangled with the people of the village and started firing indiscriminately. My brother got shot in this.
There was chaos in the wedding after being shot
The boys who shot in the crowd of hundreds belonged to the nearby village of Rampur, which had committed criminal incidents earlier also. The relatives of the deceased told their names as Muni, Bhulavan, Deepak. One of them was caught by the villagers. Later he was handed over to the police. All these boys reach the dance programs held in the vicinity and show force by firing with illegal weapons.
Death occurred while being brought to Sadar Hospital
Dinesh Yadav was sitting in Samiana (Janvasa) to watch the dance program, only then the firing started in the dispute and innocent Dinesh Yadav was shot in the chest. He was brought to Sadar Hospital in an injured condition by the villagers and family members present on the spot. But, here the doctor declared him dead. After the incident, there was an outcry from the village to the Sadar Hospital. After the departure of Dinesh, the father’s shadow was snatched from three younger daughters and a son.
