The cabinet on Tuesday approved the Transfer Policy 2023-24. In this, transfers will be done to those officers of Group A and B, who have completed 3 years in the district and 7 years in the circle. The transfer process will be completed by June 30. After the transfer session, the transfer of Group A as well as Group B personnel will be done only after taking the approval of the Chief Minister through the departmental minister. Giving information about this decision, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna also said that any transfer in the transfer session will be done only with the approval of the departmental minister.
Transfers of Group A and B can be done only to the extent of maximum 20 percent of the number of personnel working cadre-wise and up to a maximum of 10 percent of the number of personnel of Group C and D. Group C and D cadre-wise more than 10 percent and to a maximum extent of 20 percent can be done only with the approval of the departmental minister. Under this, the transfer of the personnel working for the longest time will be done on priority.
It has been said in the transfer policy that the mandate issued on 13 May 2022 will be strictly followed for change of table or area of Group C personnel. As far as possible, arrangements have been made to transfer Group B and C personnel on the basis of merit based online transfer system.

Options will be taken from parents of disabled children
Arrangements have been made to take the option of posting parents of retarded children and disabled children who are completely affected by walking, at a place where there is proper care and treatment.
Priority in deployment to 14 backward districts and 100 development blocks
Arrangements have been made for saturation by posting in the aspirational districts of Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Siddharthnagar, Bahraich, Balrampur, Shravasti, Chandauli and Sonbhadra, 100 development blocks of 34 districts and all the districts of Bundelkhand declared by the Government of India. That is, no post will remain vacant in these districts and development blocks.
