Street Food: Nephew came to meet his maternal uncle in lockdown, now both of them have opened a desi pizza shop together


Abhishek Ranjan / Muzaffarpur, In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, there is a maternal uncle-nephew cart for desi pizza lovers. There is a crowd to eat pizza at this cart named Mama-Bhanja on Mithanpura road of the city. Golu, who sets up a cart by the name Mama-Bhanja, tells that he used to live in Mumbai earlier. During the lockdown, he had come to stay at his maternal uncle’s place in Muzaffarpur. Then he got the idea that why not set up a pizza and burger shop in Muzaffarpur in the name of uncle and nephew. With this thought, Golu along with his maternal uncle Mukesh Kumar started a pizza and fast food cart in front of Nine to Nine in Mithanpura.

Golu says that the menu available at his shop has the highest demand for pizza. They offer pizzas ranging from Rs.80 to Rs.230 to the people. He told that his street pizza is economical as compared to the pizza of big brands. Cheese loaded pizza is available at their place for just Rs.80. Golu tells that he sells 100 pieces of pizza daily. Their pizza, which is prepared with good quality cheese and good vegetables at a low price, has gone up in the mouth of the people.

Homemade chutney is applied on pizza bread

Golu told that he uses many home made items in making pizza. For example, for pizza sauce, they use ingredients prepared at home. Also, use fresh vegetables.
