M.S. located on Pali Road under Dehri Nagar police station of Rohtas district Motors owner Akhtar Hussain and his son Asif Raza kidnapping case has been inaugurated by the Rohtas police. Along with this, the police have also arrested the criminals involved in the kidnapping. The abducted business father-son duo was recovered safely by the Special Team of Rohtas Police and STF from a semi-finished house located in Amra Talab of Sasaram Mufassil Police Station area within 10 hours of the incident.
Businessman’s son informed about kidnapping
Rohtas SP Vineet Kumar says that Sadab Akhtar, son of the abducted Akhtar Hussain, had given a written notice at the Dehri Nagar police station on June 11, 2023, that his father and brother had closed their shop around 8:00 pm on June 10, 2023. Kar had left for Siris in Aurangabad district on his bike back home, but did not reach home. Shortly thereafter, a ransom of Rs 3 crore was demanded by the kidnappers from his brother Shadab Akhtar’s mobile.
12 member special team formed
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, on the instructions of Rohtas SP Vineet Kumar, action was initiated in coordination with the police of Dehri Nagar police station and the police of Barun police station of Aurangabad. An FIR was registered in this matter at Dehri Nagar police station. On the instructions of Rohtas SP Vineet Kumar, Dehri Nagar Police Station President cum Trainee Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohd. Under the leadership of Adil Belal, a special team of 12 police officers and personnel was formed.
DIU and STF team jointly launched the campaign
The DIU team included in this team and the STF team from Patna started raids for the recovery of the father-son duo and the arrest of the kidnappers. The team got the secret information only after 10 hours of the incident. As soon as the information was received, working on that lead, the father and son were freed from the kidnappers by raiding a semi-constructed house located in Amra Talab of Mufassil police station area.
Police arrested the mastermind of the incident, route chart recovered
The mastermind of the kidnapping case, Ashok Shah alias Ashok Master, was arrested from Hariharganj village of Nasriganj police station with the technical support of the special team of police and STF. While interrogating the arrested Ashok Shah alias Ashok Master, while admitting his involvement in the incident, he revealed the names of other accomplices involved in the kidnapping. In this sequence, the police has also arrested Chhotu Ram, who was involved in kidnapping, from Shahpur village under Mufassil police station area of Sasaram. Police have also recovered from the arrested kidnappers an Apache motorcycle used in the hijacking, three keypad mobile phones, one Android mobile phone, two packet notebooks and a laptop along with the route chart for the hijacking on a paper. .
Arrested accused have criminal history
Ashok Shah alias Ashok Master, a resident of Hariharganj of Nasriganj police station, the mastermind of the incident, has several cases of robbery, kidnapping and Arms Act registered against him. A case has been registered against Ashok Master under various sections in Nasriganj police station, Dehri police station, Tilauthu police station and Rohtas police station. On the other hand, Chhotu Ram, a resident of Shahpur of Muffsil police station area of Sasaram, has more than half a dozen cases registered in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. A case has been registered under serious sections in Rohtas’ Akodhighola police station, Sasaram Muffsil, Uttar Pradesh’s Jamania police station, Jaunpur’s Jalalpur police station and Kasimabad police station.
13 kidnappers carried out the incident
Rohtas SP Vineet Kumar told that both the arrested kidnappers have a long criminal history. Arrested Ashok Shah alias Ashok Master has also been accused of serious crimes like kidnapping, robbery and Arms Act in the past. Along with this, he told that this scandal has been executed by making a route chart by 13 kidnappers, for whose arrest raids are being conducted in Jharkhand apart from Bihar by the special team of Rohtas police.
Interstate criminals carried out the incident
Rohtas SP Vineet Kumar says that in this kidnapping case, apart from the criminals of Rohtas district, the involvement of criminals from Aurangabad and Jharkhand has also come to the fore, for whose arrest the special team of Rohtas police is raiding different places. Within 10 hours of the kidnapping by the Rohtas Police and STF, freeing the kidnapped father and son from the clutches of the kidnappers, a big achievement has been achieved by arresting two kidnappers. Recommendation will be made to reward the police officers and personnel involved in the investigation of this kidnapping case.
