In this restaurant, parathas are served not only in the morning breakfast, but throughout the day. Ashoka Hotel was started in the year 1972 by Sultan Singh Yadav, a resident of Manethi. He started it in the name of his elder son Ashok. Earlier, only a simple dhaba was run here, but after the year 1992, seeing people’s love for parathas, only parathas were served here.

Parathas were available for 5 rupees
Owner Ram Kishan says that when the paratha was started in the restaurant, the rate was Rs 5, but now with the increase in inflation, the rates have increased here. Now here is a paratha for 60 rupees. Told that many types of parathas are available here. There are many varieties like Aloo Paratha, Onion Paratha, Mix Veg Paratha, Paneer Paratha. Told that he uses homemade spices and prepares parathas for the customers himself, has not hired artisans.

As soon as you walk from Rewari towards Narnaul on National Highway No-11, there is Ashoka Hotel at Kund bus stand, about 20 km away. After Ashok’s death, his younger brother Ram Kishan is running the restaurant. Told that there is another restaurant three kilometers away named Old Ashoka Hotel which is being run by his brother Sunil.
