The marriage took place, the bride left for her in-laws house with the groom, but before reaching her in-laws house, the bride became a widow. The case pertains to Aurangabad district of Bihar. The procession had come from Bokaro district of Jharkhand. Dwar Puja took place, Jaimal happened and Vrinda Singh’s engineer son Aman got married with pomp. After the marriage was over, the bride was sent off and she left for her in-laws house with her new life partner.
groom’s ill health
The groom left for his home with the bride. Meanwhile, Aman’s health suddenly deteriorated near Barachatti. Aman was sweating profusely but no one noticed it. On seeing the groom drenched in sweat in the air-conditioned car, the relatives got scared and took him to the Government Hospital in Barachatti for treatment. Doctors after first aid referred the groom to Magadh Medical College Hospital, Gaya for better treatment. Even there, when there was no improvement in the health of the groom, the family hurriedly took him to a big private nursing home in Patna, where the doctors declared Aman dead after examination.
The atmosphere of happiness turned into mourning
The relatives cremated Aman at the Bamboo Ghat in Patna. Here, as soon as the news of the groom’s death was received at home, there was uproar in the whole house. In the house where preparations were going on to welcome the bride, mourning spread in that house. The women of the house started screaming. The reason for the death of the groom could not be clarified. The same doctors are prima facie telling it a case of heart attack. However, after the accident, there has been uproar at both the bride’s maternal home and her in-laws’ place. There is mourning in both the places. Relatives are in bad condition by crying.
