The construction work of the Delhi section of the corridor reached the next stage
Track completed in elevated section between New Ashok Nagar and Khichdipur ramp

New Delhi. Track laying activities have started in the underground tunnel of Delhi section of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor. Under this, track slabs are being laid at Anand Vihar underground station. Here the work of laying track on both up and down platforms has started. This work will enter the tunnel from the station and proceed towards New Ashok Nagar station. Tell that the construction of both the tunnels from Anand Vihar to New Ashok Nagar has already been completed.
Along with this, a track of about two kilometers has been prepared on the elevated part between New Ashok Nagar elevated rapidx station and the underground tunnel ramp at Khichdipur. A total of 5 km track is to be built for the up and down line on the elevated portion between Anand Vihar to New Ashok Nagar, out of which about 2 km track has been prepared so far.
Ramp work is in final stage
The work of laying track between New Ashok Nagar station and Khichdipur ramp is going on at a fast pace. The construction work of the ramp being built to connect the underground tunnel and the elevated section is also in the final stage. Soon the underground part of the Delhi section will be connected to the elevated part. For the first time in the country, such technology is being used, through which high capacity blast equipped track slabs are being produced. These track slabs are generally 4 m by 2.4 m in size and high quality concrete is used in their construction.
