A youth died due to drinking spurious liquor on Tuesday night in Fatehpur Bala village of Mujre Gadi police station area of ​​Samastipur district of Bihar. The deceased has been identified as Vikas Kumar (27), son of Deepak Prakash Singh of the village itself. However, considering the cause of death as suspicious, the police seized the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Regarding the incident, Deepak Prakash Singh, the father of the deceased Vikas, says that his son used to work as a cobbler in Gangapur. Late in the evening he returned home after drinking alcohol. Asked the family members to give it as chicken. The father of the deceased told that during this time suddenly his health started deteriorating. Repeated vomiting and complained of abdominal pain. He was feeling restless, after which people took him to the hospital. But he died before reaching the hospital. Later the information about the incident was given to the Musrigharari police.

Liquor easily available in Gangapur

The father of the deceased alleges that there is illegal liquor business around Gangapur and people get liquor easily. His son also got liquor near Gangapur, after consuming which he died.

‘Cause of death not yet clear’

Musrigharari Police Station President Pankaj Kumar said that the cause of death is not yet clear. Assuming death in suspicious condition, the dead body has been seized and sent for postmortem. The situation will be clear only after the post mortem report comes.
