Rajat Bhatt / Gorakhpur. There is a lot of fast food being sold in the city these days. Every youth is liking it so much that the crowd starts appearing at the fast food shops in the evening. These days people from Nepal are selling momos and fast food at every square intersection in the city. People are also enjoying their fast food. But these days in Gorakhpur there is a huge crowd at the shop of Vivek, who runs Momo’s stall in the name of Delhi 6, better than Nepali Momo. From 5 pm to 10 pm, Vivek sells about 1,000 to 1,500 momos. At Vivek’s place both momos and chutney are completely indigenous.
Vivek sets up his momo stall at Indira Bal Bihar in Gorakhpur. Vivek is running his shop here for the last 3 months. After reaching the shop, Vivek told that his momo is absolutely Indian. He does not use anything in Momo which is harmful to the health of the people. The stuffing of Momo is made from mixed vegetables and corn and the chutney is completely desi as it is made in an Indian home. About 1,000 to 1,500 momos are sold in a day. The specialty of Vivek’s shop is that non-veg momos are not available at his shop. We feed only variety of veg momos to our customers.
Opened three shops in 3 months
Vivek started his startup in Gorakhpur only 3 months back. People liked his Momo so much that in just 3 months, Vivek opened three new stalls inside the city. He himself is present at a shop. While his brothers and employees work on 2. If we talk about Vivek’s three shops, then the sale of 1 day is around 5 thousand momos. Steam momos start from Rs.40 at their shop and crispy momos, paneer momos, chili momos are available. The price of all these goes up to Rs.90.
