Yes, today we will tell you how to make Falahari Jalebi which is eaten during fasting. Shiva devotees observe fast in the month of Sawan. Fasting is specially observed on Sawan Mondays. Usually things made of sago are eaten for fruit. If you are fond of eating sweets, then you can make and eat special fruit jalebi in Falahar.
Apart from being tasty, Falahari Jalebi will not be harmful in terms of health. Its taste is liked a lot. The juice dissolves in the mouth as soon as you eat the flavourful Falahari Jalebi. Let’s know the easy way to make Falahari Jalebi.

Ingredients to make Falahari Jalebi
Sama rice flour – 1 bowl
Sago flour – 2 tsp
Potatoes boiled – 4
Curd – 1 bowl
Sugar – 1 bowl
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Sweet yellow color – 1 pinch
Oil/ghee – for frying
How to make Falahari Jalebi
If you want to make Falahari Jalebi for Sawan Somvar Vrat, first boil the potatoes and then peel them and cut them into pieces and transfer them to a mixer jar. After this, put curd in the jar and grind it well to make a smooth paste. Now add sama rice flour and sago flour to this paste and blend it well for about 1 minute.
After the smooth paste is ready, transfer it to a big bowl and add sweet yellow color after beating it for 4-5 minutes. After this, beat the paste for 2 more minutes so that the color gets absorbed well in the paste. Now add water and sugar as per requirement in a vessel and keep it on medium flame to heat. When sugar gets mixed with water, mix cardamom powder in it and prepare sugar syrup.

Now put desi ghee/oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. While the ghee is melting, put the jalebi paste in a cone. When the ghee becomes hot, make jalebi in the oil with the help of a cone and fry it. After frying on one side for some time, flip the jalebi and fry on the other side as well. When the jalebi becomes golden and crispy from both the sides, take it out of the pan and put it in a bowl of sugar syrup and keep it immersed for 5 minutes.
In the same way, keep making jalebis from the remaining paste and keep them dipped in sugar syrup. The better the jalebi absorbs the sugar syrup, the tastier it will taste in the food. Take out the jalebi from the syrup before serving. Tasty Jalebi is ready for fruit meal.
